Tides Folly Beach

9/7/26 Update: I stayed at Tides again, this time on the ground floor patio room. This choice of rooms makes it easier to take my Shih Tzu in and out, give him a small yard to be in where we can sit, watch volleyball on the beach and walk directly to the ocean. All of that will make this my room of choice next time. Also quick access to the coffee shop which opens at 6am before sunrise which we got up to watch every morning. Shelter from the storm - Bob Dylan

Shelter from the Storm WRITTEN BY: BOB DYLAN  ’Twas in another lifetime, one of toil and blood When blackness was a virtue and the road was full of mud I came in from the wilderness, a creature void of form “Come in,” she said, “I’ll give you shelter from the storm” And if I pass this way again, you can rest assured I’ll always do my best for her, on that I give my word In a world of steel-eyed death, and men who are fighting to be warm “Come in,” she said, “I’ll give you shelter from the storm” Not a word was spoke between us, there was little risk involved Everything up to that point had been left unresolved Try imagining a place where it’s always safe and warm “Come in,” she said, “I’ll give you shelter from the storm” I was burned out from exhaustion, buried in the hail Poisoned in the bushes an’ blown out on the trail Hunted like a crocodile, ravaged in the corn “Come in,” she said, “I’ll give you shelter from the storm” Suddenly I turned around and she was standin’ th...

Make you feel my love - Bob Dylan

Image
When the rain is blowing in your face And the whole world is on your case I could offer a warm embrace To make you feel my love When evening shadows and the stars appear And there is no one there to dry your tears I could hold you for a million years To make you feel my love I know you haven't made your mind up yet But I would never do you wrong I've known it from the moment that we met No doubt in my mind where you belong I'd go hungry, I'd go black and blue I'd go crawling down the avenue And oh, there's nothing that I wouldn't do To make you feel my love The storms are raging on the rolling sea And on the highway of regret The winds of change are blowing wild and free You ain't seen nothing like me yet I could make you happy, make your dreams come true Nothing that I wouldn't do Go to the ends of the earth for you To make you feel my love
