 This tribute to Dolly that we found on Facebook last night just Ring so true I wish I could give him a thumbs up or a heart because he spoke the very belief system that I feel I try to follow and that is the teachings of Jesus the actual teachings of Jesus which are summarized in the golden rule due to others as you would have them do one to you treat other people with the respect the love, the kindness that you would want them to treat yourself. I feel like I’ve tried to practice this towards men towards women towards children towards animals towards everyone who crosses my path in my life you know just try to be a decent person and to me this is true Christianity. This is what Jesus taught us not to be proud, but to be humble, not to be arrogant, but to be humble and not to be selfish, but to be generous not to be self-serving, but to serve others.  I know I might be naïve and idealistic but this is why I became a Social Worker. Dolly Parton was a Christian who didn't use her religion to control and condemn others, but to welcome them, love them, and be generous to them. She didn't wear her religion as an arrogant status symbol. She just loved people. She was a talented, brilliant, and caring person who led with love.  Impudence, arrogance, loud harsh, aggressive, mean, spirited racist. I’m in the list goes on maybe I’ll think of some more words, but I just needed to shout these things out. This is an aggressive mean spirited presidency. We’re living under and it’s a dictatorship and that’s what I tell myself, it’s a dictatorship just accept it. Use that word because that’s what it is. This guy is not using Congress. He’s not you know going through the channels of Congress or the courts. He has just taken it upon himself to run this country and run it into the ground based on his own egotistical wants and needs and no one is stopping him no one and do I wanna spend money and contribute to different candidates no because I’m afraid because I’m afraid of running out of money that’s part of it.  I started this blog and named it suddenly single because I had suddenly lost my wife of 46 years. It was devastating I was devastated. I was in shock now I recovered, and I basically stewarded myself through the recovery. I knew that I had to learn to live alone, I knew that was my first goal and I made up a list of projects and activities that I wanted to do, and ironically, with the hurricane, I found myself feeling very motivated very positive. I was walking down the street and found myself saying I’ve never felt better in my life. I’m really in that position right now but now I have a girlfriend that I didn’t expect to have and I love her and care about her and she’s not my 46 year history she’s my one year history and it’s a true gift. All this is a big buildup to say I am suddenly scared. I am Suddenly overwhelmed with what is happening to us in America. What has happened to us in America?
