Strawberries blueberries and bananas

https://a.co/d/099cfeBg   A fruit medley consisting of 1 pint each of strawberries, bananas, and blueberries, plus 1 tablespoon of added sugar , has the following approximate nutritional profile. These values use standard USDA-based data for raw fruits (pint sizes reflect typical “as purchased, yields” volumes for berries, around 12–14 oz or 340–400g for strawberries and ~11–12 oz or ~300–340g for blueberries). Banana “pint” is interpreted as a volume equivalent of roughly 2–2.5 cups of sliced bananas (common in medleys/salads), weighing about 300–375g total.0 Values are rounded for practicality and can vary slightly by exact fruit size, ripeness, and variety. Total Estimated Nutrition (Whole Medley) Calories : ~650–750 kcal Total Carbohydrates : ~150–170g Sugars (natural + added): ~110–130g (added sugar contributes ~12–13g) Dietary Fiber : ~20–25g Protein : ~7–9g Total Fat : ~2–3g (very low) Key Micronutrients (approximate totals): Vitamin C: High (often 150–250+ m...
4/23/26 Blood test for Inflammation    A high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) level of 0.39 mg/L is considered low —and that’s generally a good sign. Here’s how it’s typically interpreted: < 1.0 mg/L → Low risk of inflammation (and lower cardiovascular risk) 1.0 – 3.0 mg/L → Ω…Ψͺوسط/average risk > 3.0 mg/L → Higher inflammation / higher cardiovascular risk What your result suggests A value of 0.39 mg/L indicates: Very low systemic inflammation Low risk related to heart disease from an inflammation standpoint A bit of context hs-CRP is often used as a marker for: Subtle, chronic inflammation Cardiovascular risk (especially when combined with cholesterol, blood pressure, etc.) Bottom line This is a favorable result . On its own, it doesn’t raise concern. If you want, I can help interpret this alongside your other labs (like cholesterol, A1C, etc.), which gives a much clearer picture than any single number.
Linda came to visit on April 15 so what did we do? All right I picked her up at the airport and she was very very hungry and so the first thing we did was drive back to Hendersonville and go to Hendo and where they have great breakfast chicken and biscuits and she was real happy with that and then we went back to my house and were able to sit on the deck and enjoy our breakfast in the warm almost summer like weather. I think we might’ve taken a nap during the day but we went over to Jennifer‘s that evening and so Jennifer was able to meet Linda and they got along great and it was just a really nice first meeting. The next day I took Linda to Hot Springs, which was the main thing on my agenda of something to do and we were able to go there and have a wonderful time because Jennifer offered to take care of Zeke and give us the whole day to ourselves and it was just really really nice. We were able to do that and amazingly enough. Linda found that a friend classmate of hers from back...

What do I worry about? Last night when we were talking, it appears that all three of us worry about stuff and all three of us whether it keeps us up or not we tend to worry whether it’s in the middle of the night, which Linda has expressed or first thing in the morning, which Jennifer has expressed so in a way there should be comfort in knowing that other people struggle with these emotional issues of worry and you know I’ve turned into this Buddhist wisdom to help me deal with it and I found it very effective you know in Buddhism they call the second arrow you know something happens to you and you know what causes pain or concern but it’s your mind that thinks about it and repeats the problem or you know perseverance on it won’t let go of it. That’s the second arrow that makes it worse and that was a big bit of a wisdom so when I find myself thinking or worrying, I try to let go of it but not force it Buddhist you know big on that don’t force it or pretend you’re not worried or t...
Linda came to visit on April 15 and it’s Sunday already and Lauren and Sam are supposed to come here with the boys. It’s been a whirlwind of a week. It’s been a great every day Linda And Jennifer get along so incredibly well you couldn’t ask for more right away, Linda had interest in the labyrinth and you know they just were able to talk about so many things and just bond with each other so I couldn’t have wanted more. Lynn and I cut them but it had a couple times and I feel kind of bad about it. One was always telling the story of how she confronted there his boyfriend you know what are your intentions and after that or soon after that, he decided while he wasn’t gonna get married to Dara they broke up reconnected with Adam and here. They are married with two beautiful kids. Linda remembers it a little bit differently, Jennifer remarked on it later how it reminded her of how she and her sister remember things different ways and we’ll get in fights about it, but it was nothing bad...

Pope Leo speaks out against war

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Sarah Mullally, threw her support behind the pope on April 16, urging Anglicans to follow his lead. Mullally plans to visit Rome later in April to meet with Leo. “I stand with my brother in Christ, His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, in his courageous call for a kingdom of peace,” said Mullally, who in October was named the first woman to lead the Church of England. “As innocent people are killed and displaced, families torn apart, and futures destroyed, the human cost of war is incalculable. It is the calling of every Christian – and of all people of faith and goodwill – to work and pray for peace. We must also urge all those entrusted with political authority to pursue every possible peaceful and just means of resolving conflict,” she said. https://enewspaper.blueridgenow.com/eebrowser/ipad/html5.check.26032419//action/php-script/callcrop_pdf.php?file=0@/hendersonvilletimesnews/20260417/henbrd_timesnews_04-17-2026_b_a_001_w-socr.pdf.0/&crop=300-325-84-2...

Jin Shin Jyutsu healing arts

Image
Jin Shin Jyutsu (JSJ) is  an ancient Japanese, non-invasive energy healing art that balances the body's energy pathways to reduce stress, pain, and emotional tension . Similar to acupuncture but without needles or deep pressure, it uses gentle, light touch on 26 "Safety Energy Locks" (SELs) to harmonize body, mind, and spirit. [ 1 ,  2 ,  3 ,  4 ,  5 ]  Key Aspects of Jin Shin Jyutsu: Core Principle:  It addresses the root causes of "dis-ease" (disharmony) rather than just symptoms, often described as a "jumper cable" for energy flow.  Technique:  Practitioners use their hands (like jumper cables) to balance energy flow in a 1-hour session while the client is fully clothed.  Self-Help:  A key part of the practice involves learning simple self-care routines, such as finger holding, to manage emotions and physical pain.  Finger Mudras:  Specific fingers correspond to emotions—thumb (worry), index (fear), middle (anger...

I am here. I am whole. I am okay.

I’m here I’m whole and I’m OK I’m here. I’m whole. I’m OK. This was a mantra I came up with this morning after the thing yesterday and last night. Yesterday our president, Trump threatened to destroy a part of the world destroy a civilization. I was visiting with Jennifer. We went for a walk. Part of my mind was on the walk. Part of my mind was on what Trump was doing. Jennifer and I talked a little bit Jennifer said she went and filled her tank with gas. That was a very practical solution or reaction to a very threatening situation we talked, and we both felt ashamed of what Trump was saying and doing we talked about going home to watch Broadchurch or not coming to my house just staying in our individual homes. I told Jennifer that I wanted her to know she was invited that she didn’t have to stay alone if she didn’t want to, but that she could she said she thought it might not be good to watch Broadchurch when so many people were being threatened, and I felt in that moment she had suc...
