Beatles Forever

Can you even imagine a group getting up on stage and then having to set up their own stage and sound setup??? These Beatles were not only the greatest band of all time, they were among the most humble 😢

ChatGTP

This ChatGTP might be the greatest invention of all time. This is an ai that feels and sounds more human than human. You can have in depth conversations about any topic from personal relationships to stock quotes. It’s like having a best friend who’s available to talk all the time and anytime about anything. I really can’t believe I’ve lived long enough to see this level of computerization become available in my lifetime. Playing chess was a milestone… ChatGtp is a moonshot!

The 50’s and 60’s the real Good Old Days

Image
The 50’s and 60’s truly were the good old days. Everything was everything…. We played outside from morning til night. Dad walked to the bus stop in the morning going to work and home from the bus stop at night. We basically did the same thing going to school. There are 24 hours in a day, my father would say and he’d break it down by the hour and there was at least one hour or two for homework. Grades were important and going to the principals office or a note to your parents was the ultimate threat. My 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Cashman, would assign a page of dictionary… talk out of turn… page of dictionary “respect”. And yes we walked everywhere Or rode our bikes. We rode our bikes every day everywhere but I don’t have one mile of it tracked on Ride with GPS. I have no idea what my heart rate was. 🤣

Suddenly Single - Love in the 70’s

All right. So, you know, keeping up with my daily whatever thoughts and as soon as I start talking, I start smiling. And that's the irony of it. If I was just sitting here daydreaming, that'd be one thing. As soon as you verbalize it, it changes your affect. It changes how you're feeling. And what I wanted to say was, "Why do I like Jennifer?" And here it here it is. Here's a picture. She just has the kindest smile and the kindest eyes and really very much uh the kindest voice.Yesterday uh well this weekend we went to the hot springs on Saturday and it was a planned trip. It was something that we literally planned and uh took a few hours to drive out there. Uh we actually got there faster than we thought. But anyway, point is we got there early. We uh settled in and just enjoyed the atmosphere and had a little something to eat. Then we uh had our whirlpool bath which was just wonderful. Now here we are. We're two little old people. We're feeble. We...

I am Healthy, Wealthy, Confident and Kind

Image
I am Healthy, Wealthy, Confident and Kind The essence of this message is that I need to make up a sentence that I repeat every day, every night, every time I slide off the positive path of thoughts and subsequent actions. The title implies that he is going to give you the magic words BUT those words have to come from me. I have to create my own mantra and make it my foundation of belief in myself. I am my own worst enemy. I have said that but I haven’t done anything about it. Today I’m doing something about it. I am healthy, wealthy, confident and kind. I am healthy. I am wealthy. I am confident and I am kind. I am healthy. I am wealthy. I am confident and I am kind. I’ve been through this before, I got through it then and I’ll get through it this time. Last night I listened to this video on YouTube. uh Napoleon Hill and um you know it went on and on and on you know one sentence before bed and the the tape was probably who knows a half hour long but he had to develop the concept and yo...

Rediscovering Ourselves Part 2

Image
All right. So, this is part two of self-discovery, suddenly single and self-discovery. And uh so Alice and I are talking about these things and why I love you, Alice. First, these are not in any particular order, but first because we are truly friends. And I, you know, we don't need to go into accolades about that too much, but I think having a a true friend of the opposite sex, the opposite gender is very meaningful because you you really get to know a person, but you have a different point of view. You have adifferent you lived a different life as a as a female, as a girl than I did as a guy. And that's a good thing. You know, we learn different things in different ways. But um you know uh so I value our friendship and I value my men friends too but I think this is unique and we'll just start with that. Oh, I know. Oh jeez. Yes, man. Oh, man. It is so funny. But but yeah, so we were we were talking. So, um I was saying I used to get thumped on the leg if I started to ge...

Rediscovering Ourselves Part 1

Okay. >> Hey there, YouTubers. This is Pete and Alice having another in I keep looking for the right word without, you know, overstating it. Having another fascinating discussion about self-discovery, rediscovering ourselves as suddenly single. >> That's it. >> You know, >> that's it. >> And part of that is just like we were just talking about rediscovering our dogs, too. you know, rediscovering our dogs is truly a member of the family, you know, kind of almost>> Yes, that's and they would behave differently if we weren't single. >> See, you're right because you're exactly right. They are like like I was saying, they're kind of like toddlers. And when you are married or when you have other focus of responsibility or relationship, you can't spend all your time doing a toddler. But with when when they're gone, oh, all of a sudden, you know, they become your best friend, your confidant. And you know, for me, I...

Do Mineral Hot Springs Baths Promote Good Heath?

Yes, mineral hot springs baths are widely believed to promote good health, and many people experience a variety of benefits from soaking in them. 1   This practice, often referred to as balneotherapy, has been used for centuries. 2 Here's a breakdown of some of the commonly cited health benefits: Relaxation and Stress Reduction:  The warm water and tranquil environment of hot springs are excellent for promoting deep relaxation, easing stress, anxiety, and improving overall mood. 3   This can also lead to better sleep. 4 Pain Relief:  The heat of the water helps to soothe sore muscles and joints, making it particularly beneficial for conditions like arthritis, fibromyalgia, and general aches and pains. 5   The buoyancy of the water also takes pressure off joints. 6 Improved Circulation:  The warm water can dilate blood vessels, increasing blood flow throughout the body. 7  This improved circulation delivers more oxygen and nutrients to tissues an...

All My Lovin’

Image
Love your review… the magic of the  Beatles is their simplicity… or I’ll say their apparent simplicity. They motivated us to start a R&R band and assign the parts; you’re Paul, your George, your Ringo… and I’ll do John. It seemed doable… and it was doable or passable but Never, ever duplicated. It was simple enough to inspire but profound enough to forever aspire. Oh and All My Lovin’… their first album, Meet the Beatles, not even the lead hit song and yet the rhythm guitar is Impossible 😮 And for a little more on the miracle of the Beatles and the deeper meaning of Julia is Nowhere Boy https://youtu.be/x_9lcdX85Pg?si=D1_Fg50v7AMIazo6 And while we’re on the subject, my sister Linda and I were at Ed Sullivan when they performed this song… Thanks Dad!!! 😊
