Suddenly Single - Love in the 70’s

 

All right. So, you know, keeping up with my daily whatever thoughts and as soon as I start talking, I start smiling. And that's the irony of it. If I was just sitting here daydreaming, that'd be one thing. As soon as you verbalize it, it changes your affect. It changes how you're feeling. And what I wanted to say was, "Why do I like Jennifer?" And here it here it is. Here's a picture. She just has the kindest smile and the kindest eyes and really very much uh the kindest voice.Yesterday uh well this weekend we went to the hot springs on Saturday and it was a planned trip. It was something that we literally planned and uh took a few hours to drive out there. Uh we actually got there faster than we thought. But anyway, point is we got there early. We uh settled in and just enjoyed the atmosphere and had a little something to eat. Then we uh had our whirlpool bath which was just wonderful. Now here we are. We're two little old people. We're feeble. We're weak. We have our issues, butwe're doing something together. And I'm telling you, it was wonderful. And it was totally unexpected. It was unexpected for me that I would meet somebody that I would care about. And now that I have and now that we seem to get along so well, I just want to indulge. I just want to do things that are fun with each other and for each other. And that's what it comes down to. I just feel good and uh feel connected. Uh gosh, now I'm stumbling, but I just feel good when I'm caring about somebody. It's really pretty muchthat simple. and she's a person that makes me care about her just by her kindness. And uh that's what it comes down to. She's just kind. She's thoughtful and she's kind. And um I got her this little uh thing to hang her swinging chair on and she's so thankful for that. And I'm thankful to be able to sit there and just have a great conversation with her. So, based on that, I'm going to go get dressed, go out and visit my clients today, and have yet another wonderful day inHendersonville, Paradise.
