The beauty of nature is all around us. It’s in the big things, but it’s also in the very small things. It’s all a matter of seeing it. It’s all a matter of being aware of it when you’re there. Whitewater Falls is a beautiful place. We’ve been here at least 10 or 20 times over the last 40 years. I’ll be going back again soon. Probably when the snow melts now that I’m thinking about it but the wonder of nature is in its sense of permanence. Even in the knowing that nothing is permanent there are aspects of nature that you can return to to enjoy their grandeur to enjoy the reassurance in their presence that we still dwell in that garden of Eden, but that we need to remind ourselves to visit once in a while

 to be still 

and 

take heart.
