I saw your… I’m 76 and then I saw that was a year ago so happy birthday 1948… to your point, The Beatles changed Everything! I didn’t get to see all the groups you did but I saw a few…  4 Tops, Chicago, James Taylor, Bon Jovi, Sting…. But with the possible exception of the four tops, probably none of these other groups would’ve been there for us because the Beatles told us we could do this…. The Beatles told us that we could get together and start learning how to play the guitar chords sing a couple harmonies and even make up the words and we still just a snowball chance of being like The Beatles… so like you said groups like the Doors, The Byrds, and names like Crosby stills, Nash and Young, all got their inspiration from the Beatles… and even today my 40 year-old kid is Suddenly into Billy strings… and even Blue grass, Billy strings gives a nod to the Beatles… and sometimes when I try to explain the phenomenon to my younger generation, I realize that for some things you just had to be there 😮 i’m so glad I was 😢😊
