Suddenly Single

 We had a great conversation. We had great conversations a few times but at loggerheads one night Peggy who is Bernie sister I’m kind you know was telling us things about her life. That were very very interesting. She worked in politics with the Carter administration and then she lost your job when he lost the election or when he know, and when he left his position as president so she moved from Atlanta to Oakland Oakland, California her value of her home tripled from 300,000 to 900,000 and so when she sold it, she had a pretty good NASDA and she shared this with us so I think it’s OK for me to say it, but she said it changed her economic trajectory and now she’s fairly you know economically secure, but the main thing she said that was so interesting. Was she got involved with writing a sitcom or you know a show on TV and how they went about the technique they use for writing these shows, she said that they would sit down and map out characters and so whatever character they may le...

 OK, Folly Beach Folly Beach, Folly Beach Jennifer‘s family goes to Folly Beach. I learned in this process that they have had their family reunions their numerous times I said five as if it was a big exaggeration, and Grace said probably more than five times so you know that was something else I learned about Jennifer that she has all this stuff that she’s done in places she’s been but she doesn’t really like to talk about it much so anyway I got reservations at Tides hotel, which is great. She was next-door with her family with Grace and Bernie next-door. I don’t know the name of the place but condominiums and very very nice but we met in the middle you know when we stayed in our own places, but then we met to go out for lunch or to go dinner or to go to the beach and we did that several times a day, but we still had our privacy in our in our downtime which was great and then I had Zeke with me, which was great highlights.  So more memories of Folly Beach you know I want to do the highlights well sad highlight is the Dolly Parton passed away 80 years old a beautiful girl, a beautiful person and just such a truly wonderful spirit and I had only gotten interested in her recently because she donated $1 million for the Covid Vaccine and then when she passed just a week or so ago she’s 80 years old so she’s you know our age group she’s right there with us and it’s just a reminder of how fragile life is and how lucky we are to still have it but the point I’m making is the Jennifer really was moved by this as well so it was something else that we could share and then I bought an audible book and we actually listen to it on the way home and that was nice to be able to do that together and that was great. I’m driving down we were very concentrated on getting there safely both ways actually but anyway being able to charge up and spend a little time shopping around my biggest handicap is a week bladder will cal...

 Well, we just got back from Folly Beach our first vacation away from home together and it was pretty spectacular. We did so many things. I’m gonna just try to recall a few of them off the top of my head. You know And reported directly to the Blog so first off we drove together in the EV and I mapped out our route so that we could charge up in in Columbia area at the Walmart and then at the Tanger Mall in North Charleston and so we did that we got started at like 6 AM she is such a trooper just amazing. She literally called me at 5:21 AM which she woke me but of course I was excited and I was already half awake because I don’t sleep much. We went out on the beach that early and looked for the sunset. We just walked along the beach and everything ironically, the sun didn’t set until like seven so we didn’t see the actual I mean sunset sunrise so we didn’t see the actual sunrise.
