Google Reviews : Petco

I needed a refill on my Shih Tzu's flea medication. This may seem like a relatively simple thing to do, but in today's world with veterinarians prescribing one thing and over-the-counter medication's promoting another. It's good to get a little personal advice. I called Petco to ask if they had a certain medication and a young lady named Jessica gave me not only the names of what they carried, but the qualities of each of the brands. She took that extra minute to take my questions and the health and welfare of my pet into her full consideration. I made the trip across town to Petco. I bought the flea medication that she recommended and I also bought shampoo and I know that I will return many times in the future to buy more pet supplies. People make a difference and in this case, Jessica made a major difference in not this decision but future decision decisions and purchases. We can buy almost anything We need on the Internet and it's here the next day. I have no pro...

My friend Alice just sent me these photographs that she had in her personal archive and they bring back many memories and they also bring back the fact that I don’t remember everything. The photo right below here is Dave myself and Skoby. His full name is Ken Skoby. We always always called him Skoby.. Skoby was a wild guy and in college. He was always bare chested and running around in the cold doing crazy things and bringing back things from New Hampshire that we had never tried before like Whale Meat. I’ll never forget he brought that can of whale meat back to the dorm and kind of dared us to try it quite honestly I don’t know if I did… But I know if I did, I didn’t like it… Another thing he did was hang from the bed upside down and calm himself a wombat…. He was always pushing the limit on everything we did.  This is a great picture of Dave. He just looks so happy and relaxed. He has a big smile on his face. I think they took this picture when we met Skoby in Atlanta many years ...
LOVING KINDNESS  The first element of true love is loving kindness. The essence of loving kindness is being able to offer happiness. You can be the sunshine for another person. You can’t offer happiness until you have it for yourself. So build a home inside by accepting yourself and learning to love and heal yourself. Learn how to practice mindfulness in such a way that you can create moments of happiness and joy for your own nourishment. Then you have something to offer the other person.
Speech: “To be, or not to be, that is the question” BY  WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (from  Hamlet , spoken by Hamlet) To be, or not to be, that is the question: Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles And by opposing end them. To die—to sleep, No more; and by a sleep to say we end The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks That flesh is heir to: 'tis a consummation Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep; To sleep, perchance to dream—ay, there's the rub: For in that sleep of death what dreams may come, When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, Must give us pause—there's the respect That makes calamity of so long life. For who would bear the whips and scorns of time, Th'oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely, The pangs of dispriz'd love, the law's delay, The insolence of office, and the spurns That patient merit of th'unworthy takes, When he himself ...
Gettysburg address delivered at Gettysburg Pa. Nov. 19th, 1863. [n. p. n. d.]. Gettysburg Address Delivered at Gettysburg, Pa. Nov. 19th 1863. “Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. “Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battlefield of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this. “But in a larger sense we cannot dedicate, we cannot consecrate, we cannot hallow this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember, what we say here, but it can never fo...

Gemini - The Fool on the Hill

Gemini "The Fool on the Hill" by The Beatles, primarily written by Paul McCartney, is a song rich with possible interpretations, but a central theme revolves around   wisdom being misunderstood or overlooked by the masses. Here's a breakdown of the common interpretations: The Misunderstood Wise Person:  The lyrics depict a solitary figure who is seen as foolish by others because he is quiet, keeps to himself, and doesn't conform to their expectations. However, the refrain reveals that this "fool" possesses a deeper understanding, observing the world with a broader perspective ("sees the sun going down / And the eyes in his head see the world spinning 'round"). He is aware of the bigger picture while others are caught up in their daily routines and superficial judgments. Spiritual or Philosophical Insight:  Many believe the "fool" represents someone with spiritual enlightenment or profound philosophical insight that others fail to gra...

McCartney has stated that the inspiration for the song came from multiple sources. He mentioned the Dutch design collective "The Fool" as one influence, as they had derived their name from the Tarot card of the same name 7 . Additionally, he suggested that the character might have been inspired by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the Beatles' meditation teacher at the time 7 . The song's composition began with McCartney playing a D6 chord on the ...

The fool on the hill -John Lennon and Paul McCartney

https://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/beatles/thefoolonthehill.html "The Fool On The Hill" Day after day, alone on a hill The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still But nobody wants to know him They can see that he's just a fool And he never gives an answer But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head See the world spinning 'round Well on the way, head in a cloud The man of a thousand voices talking perfectly loud But nobody ever hears him Or the sound he appears to make And he never seems to notice But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head See the world spinning 'round And nobody seems to like him They can tell what he wants to do And he never shows his feelings But the fool on the hill Sees the sun going down And the eyes in his head See the world spinning 'round He never listens to them He knows that they're the fools They don't like him The fool on the hill Sees the sun going do...
