EGYM ACTIVITY LEVELS
How does Activity Level work?
Activity Level is a 28-day rolling period where you accumulate as many points as possible through workouts. The more intense a workout is, meaning the more energy your body expends, the more Activity Points you earn.
Activity Levels
Level 1: Wood – 0–799 Activity Points
Level 2: Bronze – 800–1399 Activity Points
Level 3: Silver – 1400–2299 Activity Points
Level 4: Gold – 2300–3899 Activity Points
Level 5: Platinum – 3900–6599 Activity Points
Level 6: Diamond – 6600–11,999 Activity Points
To reach your desired Activity Level on the EGYM system with a 28-day rolling window, your schedule depends entirely on which "medal" you are aiming for.
Since you earn 150 points per workout and can only do one workout per day, here is the breakdown of how many days you need to train versus how many days you can rest within that 28-day period.
Workout Frequency by Activity Level
Activity Level Point Range Workouts Needed (at 150 pts each) Rest Days (in 28 days) Weekly Average Bronze 800+ 6 workouts 22 days ~1.5 days/week Silver 1,400+ 10 workouts 18 days ~2.5 days/week Gold 2,300+ 16 workouts 12 days ~4 days/week Platinum 3,900+ 26 workouts 2 days ~6.5 days/week Diamond 6,600+ Impossible N/A N/A Important Observations
The Diamond Ceiling: At 150 points per workout, you cannot reach Diamond level. Even if you worked out every single day for 28 days straight, you would only accumulate 4,200 points ($28 \times 150$). To hit Diamond, you would need to increase the intensity of your sessions to average about 236 points per workout.
The Platinum Push: To maintain Platinum, you have very little room for error. You would need to work out almost every day, allowing only 2 rest days per month.
The "Sweet Spot": For most users, Gold is the most sustainable high-tier goal. It requires about 4 workouts a week, leaving you 3 days for recovery, which aligns well with most strength training programs.
How to Level Up Faster
If you want to reach the higher levels (Platinum or Diamond) without working out every single day, you’ll need to increase your points per session. On EGYM, this usually means:
Increasing the weight or resistance.
Completing more machines or exercises during a single "workout" session.
Ensuring your heart rate is higher if you are using integrated cardio equipment.
