Jimmy Kimmel’s interview with James Talarico - FCC is being used


Trump is using the instruments and institutions of America to his own advantage in an effort to destroy those very components of our American Democracy implemented by our founding fathers to protect us from the tyranny of would be tyrants.
Free and responsible speech and freedom of the press were defined and implemented to seek and provide for the truth to be available to the American public by holding the powerful accountable for their actions. Now the powerful corrupt are using their rights to free speech to promote their own messages of deceit and slander against those who seek truth and justice.

 James Talarico himself was not personally banned by the FCC. Instead, broadcast networks ABC and CBS preemptively pulled his late-night interviews from traditional TV airwaves due to ongoing disputes and regulatory pressure from the Federal Communications Commission regarding the political "equal-time" rule. [1, 2]

📺 The Jimmy Kimmel Live Incident (September 2026)

  • What Happened: On September 9, 2026, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel announced that his scheduled broadcast interview with Talarico would not air on television. [3] 
  • The Reason: Kimmel stated that the FCC under Chairman Brendan Carr had "threatened" the show, ABC, and its local affiliates over guest bookings. ABC chosen to bypass the airwave restrictions entirely by posting the full conversation on the Jimmy Kimmel Live YouTube Channel. [3, 4, 5]
