They make me happy that’s what it comes down to the Beatles make me happy from the very first songs. I listen to laying in bed at night waiting and waiting for them to play it on the top 40 a.m. station channels you know they would go through the rotation and I would just wait to hear she loves you again and of course I wanna hold your hand and then of course I was there to watch them on the Ed Sullivan show on the black-and-white TV. I mean they were everything they were the beginning of everything you might say for me as a teenager and they defined our world and now here I am at 78. They’re having kind of a don’t know what would you call a marathon or whatever of the Beatles music on prime and on my Fire TV and I’m just watching it one after the next, let it be probably one of the greatest songs of all time just a beautiful song on every level and then hello goodbye which reminds me of Bill Kelly when we were riding home from Atlanta from school and he loved that song he loved it and I didn’t think much of it. I thought it was kind of simple you know Hellogoodbye seems so simple but he liked he liked the feeling of he liked the happiness of it and now 50 years later, I see what he means I mean it’s just a happy happy song, silly and happy and now they’re doing not let it be. They’re doing all you need is Love another you know Tongue In Cheek song I mean the Beatles knew when they wrote it they knew you know you need more than Love to make the world go round, but they conveyed that message with with dignity dignity respect, and with sincerity all you need is Love and you know so I’m sitting here listening to these songs. I’m watching them watching them perform it. it’s just fantastic and like I said it reminds me of who the Beatles were who I am and why they mean so much to me. They were there. They were the inspiration for me to learn to play the guitar and sing you know with my friends and create a group and sing along with my friends, and you know a signed parts you know the league guitar, and the rhythm guitar John’s part and then you singing the harmonies where we were trying to figure it out I think that’s the deceptive phenomenon of The Beatles is that there it’s deceptively simple and it’s they they create music that you want to sing along with and that you feel like you can do it I mean they do it extremely well and so that’s why I say it’s deceptively simple but nonetheless it’s great. I love it and thanks for being there and thank you, the Beatles for being the Beatles for all these years of our lives.
