Our waitress Camille was so bright, cheerful and helpful that when my girlfriend mentioned Hurricane as a way to recall her name it took on an ironic twist and brought back memories. But tonight they are all good. The salmon is Excellent, it’s the standard by which I judge all other seafood restaurants and the asparagus spears had to be fresh from the farm. Mezzaluna was exceptionally busy tonight and yet their team handled the crowd with skills and finesse. It’s always been my favorite place since moving here 25 years ago and it always will be 😋 09/24 I have been to Mezzaluna so many times over so many years and they are always great on so many levels but now, in the early days in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, they went above and beyond what any restaurant could do. Courtney pulled her staff together to provide the most welcoming atmosphere of food and friendship in a truly We are your Good Neighbors fashion. I want to thank Courtney and all her staff, simply for showing up in the face of such hardships, to face what was much more than your average day at work. You did not just provide the most wonderful food and service, you provided a spirit of hope and belief that we will get through this and that downtown Hendersonville, with its Main Street lined with electric plugs was truly a beacon of hope for all of us living in darkness just a few streets away.
