Well gosh all I can say is wow what a day all right this is the picture I have been searching for and so I just decided I'll just give a note or two about it the other day I got into this thing about roll reversals because I had bought this uh battery backup system for 5,000 bucks when I told Lauren she said you know does it really go out that often your electricity and you know it she didn't you know she didn't pursue it or anything we didn't get into an argument or anything it was just a feeling that Ihad about this kind of role reversal where you know your child starts making decisions for you or scrutinizing your decisions and choices and you have this you know thing to say how do you think you got here you know who raised you from birth or whatever and so that's the thing is that yes this is a natural occurrence in many ways the young get older and the old get too old or older but anyway this was the picture I had in mind that stuck in my mind you know that when I carried her at the beach when shewas afraid to go into the water that darling little face that I could not see except for this Photograph and again who took these pictures was it mom was it Tess or was it Linda I don't know all I know is thank God they made they took pictures because between this one and the other one of Tess and I and Lauren on the sand a beautiful picture so memorable so meaningful as the time goes on as the time goes by and now Lauren is a full grown you know capable and uh mature and professional adult andshe has grown into everything you could ever want for a daughter to be and oh my gosh who I guess was Alice I had this huge conversation with Alice today it was just fantastic and we just talked about everything under the Sun but one of the things that she said no she didn't say it was eileene it was my cousin eileene she said the two things you want to give your children are roots and wings roots and wings what a pH phenomenal uh thought and uh statement that is raising your children you just love them you just want to keep them youknow cherish them and everything but yet and still your job is to help them grow up and become independent roots and wings so Lauren has her wings this is one picture where she's not smiling you can look at 10 million others well she's got a big smile on her face but gosh this was a moment for me as a father holding her in my arms kind of talking about maybe going down to the beach not getting too close no you're not going to have to go in the water but I felt like I had to help her you know overcome someof her fears in kind of a gentle way and you know I did that several times through her life and you know obviously she's grown up to be a very capable person person so somewhere somehow between our all of our efforts me and Mom and and Lauren of course together have helped her grow up into this beautiful person but this was the picture I was looking for it was driving me nuts I knew it existed and I finally found it on Google Drive and well no on on one drive thank you and thank God I have these backups because I don't knowwhat I'd do without them all right that's enough for one night bye-bye so long take care and hang on to those memories hang on to those photographs you never know how important they're going to be as time goes on.
