Paul McCartney on Saturday Night Live

Oh my God, what an emotional experience… so yeah, I was there at the Ed Sullivan theater… and yes, I was there when Chevy Chase tripped off stage making his first prat fall… but to see Paul McCartney up there, giving it his best with dignity and to see the audience standing in several people in tears, what a beautiful tribute what a beautiful golden nugget of nostalgia… that Paul McCartney, once known as the mop top boy was introduced as Sir Paul McCartney and no such title is more richly deserved. Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr change the face of music and in many ways changed the course of history. It’s so incredibly sad that John is not here to be part of this and that George also has passed away but here is Paul standing proud singing loud and representing 50 years of music history in three glorious minutes. Thank you, thank you more than you’ll ever know, Sir Paul McCartney.
