My 78th birthday and Jennifer’s beautiful gift of flowers
Well, that’s one way to put it. I’ve been giving her cut Flowers just something nice to do and she puts them in Oz and they look nice in her hole and I take pictures, but in this case she was determined to buy me a still bees, which will be interesting to see if spellcheck spells it correctly, but anyway, I’ve never even heard of this flower until Jennifer wanted to get me a roll of flowers to plant by the side of the house and I think she and Diane know she and Marion talked about it and came up with the idea of Stebe‘s so this is how the day went and it was just a wonderful weekend experience and wonderful birthday experience
Jennifer stops and gets my attention and says OK we’re gonna have no arguments no fights over this. This is how it’s gonna go. I’m gonna buy these flowers for you now it was funny. I’m I’m not even verbalizing of the way. She said it. It was very gentle and yet it was you know firm, especially for her, but she’s determined to pay for things and I ironically I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking I want her to spend her money on this even though I knew she was planning to anyway bottom line was we went to Marion‘s Raymond‘s nursery we finally picked out 12 still these of different colors and a couple bags of fertilizer or topsoil and we came home and started digging holes and we planned it out about every three or 4 feet. We allowed the daylilies that I already have planted there to stay where they are and we just spread the individual plants out in their little pots and saw how it looked. I boiled it and then watered them and then planted. I think we planted one in the middle and then another one or two before calling it quits for the night and then we went out to Hannah’s which is really are probably our favorite place and Jennifer got fish and chips and I got the hamburger which I think is the best hamburger in the world and it’s just so great that the way we go out do things together and now working on this project together really I couldn’t. I couldn’t ask for a greater gift than this.
