MAGA vs The Golden Rule

 Kudos for having the courage to interview MAGA people and publish it on YouTube. One gets the sense that these are basically good people who are being grossly misled and manipulated by Trump to support him and his self serving agenda. One only needs to read a few of Jesus’s own teachings to see the stark contrast in His teachings and MAGA. Love thy Neighbor as thyself for starters. However you treat the least of these is how you’re treating me and welcoming the stranger offering food, clothing and shelter, not ICE. Jesus was the son of god who taught love and kindness and lived by example. The Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. He often chastised the hypocrites. There used to be a popular aphorism “What would Jesus do?” Well for starters he wouldn’t lie. He wouldn’t steal from the poor to give to the rich. He wouldn’t hate and abuse the weak, the meek and the needy. Blessed are the peacemakers. He wouldn’t invade other counties for personal profit and power. Jesus is the son of god. Listen to him and follow him before you claim him as your own.
